How We Verify Listings
We do not sell rankings. Listings are checked against field notes, public menu sources, and direct store pages so patients can decide whether a stop is worth the drive.
Objective Listing vs. Paid Placement
Major directory sites often put paid placements ahead of what is actually closest or most useful. That is not the model here.
If a listing sends a patient to a third-party menu page, we label it that way. If it has an owned site, we label that separately. Those are not the same thing.
OKDispensaryDeals.com is built as an independent patient utility. We list active stores in our service areas and surface menu source, offer notes, and last-checked status.
What We Check
Each listing gets a practical verification pass based on the three things patients need most:
1. Menu Source
We identify whether the store uses its own website, Weedmaps, Leafly, Facebook, JointCommerce, CannMenus, or nothing public at all.
2. Offer Status
We only show specific discounts when we have some basis for them. If a promo looks generic or weak, it becomes `Needs Verification`.
3. Last Checked
Every listing shows the most recent field check or source verification date so a patient knows how fresh the information is.
How Dispensary Owners Can Improve Their Listing
Dispensaries cannot pay to change the listing order. If an owner asks us to change a result without new evidence, we will not do it.
They can still improve the underlying listing quality.
By adding a real site, keeping a menu source current, and confirming offers regularly, their listing becomes more useful and more likely to be trusted.
