Objective Listing vs. Paid Placement

Major directory sites operate on a pay-to-play model. The dispensaries at the top of their lists are not necessarily the closest, the cheapest, or the highest-rated—they are simply the ones renting the banner slots.

Worse, if a patient clicks the "Website" button on a Google Business Profile and it redirects directly back to an aggregator directory, that store is routing its own traffic to competitor banner ads. The patient is distracted by competitor discounts right on the page they were using to order.

OKDispensaryDeals.com is built as an independent patient utility. We list every active licensed store in our service areas for free, and order them by technical experience grades and verified patient feedback.

The 580DI Grading Scorecard

Every dispensary receives an overall letter grade from A+ to F. This grade is calculated algorithmically based on three core technical pillars:

1. Mobile Speed (35%)

Using Google PageSpeed Insights, we measure the First Contentful Paint (FCP) on mobile networks. If a storefront menu takes longer than 3 seconds to load on a standard LTE connection, points are deducted.

2. Checkout Friction (35%)

We count the exact number of clicks required to go from search results to adding a product to the shopping cart. Standard direct checkout systems require 2 clicks. Redirect configurations often require 4 or more.

3. Traffic Security (30%)

We audit the security of the storefront domain:

  • Secure (A): Independent custom SSL domain.
  • Leaking (C): Rerouting Google traffic back into aggregator directories.
  • Vulnerable (F): Zero web presence or invalid domains.

How Dispensary Owners Can Improve Their Grade

Dispensaries cannot buy a higher grade. If an owner contacts us asking to change their grade, we will reject the request.

However, owners can acquire the infrastructure that yields a higher grade.

By optimizing their storefront technical infrastructure (improving mobile speed, securing custom domains, and reducing checkout friction clicks), their experience grade naturally rises to A+. This promotes their deals to the top of our lists algorithmically.
